idling

Driving along the other day, pulled up to a set of lights, and the R was idling at 1600 rpm, then when i pulled away gave it some boost and the red engine light next to the check engine light flashed on then went off. :?
Anyone have any ideas, i thought maybe a boost leak as the car is now idling at 1500rpm once warmed up, i must be drawing air somewhere, but cant see any leaks split hoses etc, could it be a sensor maybe.
any help would be much appreciated

Try the ecu fault check to see what code it registered, (if any)
