Idling problems with SAFC-2

Hi,
I installed my SAFC-2 yesterday and now my car has some idling problems. When I rev it to 2000rpm and take my foot of the pedal, the revs go down to 700rpm and then back up to 1000rpm. Also when I hold the RPM on an fixed point (for example 3000rpm) I think that there are some little pops from the exhaust all the time. What can be the problem?

Main problem is the SAFC-2 is a bit of a bodge system, simply by its simplicity it will never be as good as other methods of engine control, does it do this with its map set to zero?

Sounds like you may have the wrong MAF settings

I have not changed the Map yet. My settings are: Hot-Wire 5in and 5out. I made the knock settings, and on 3500rpm it shows 155.

Can I just re-wire the airflow cable on the ecu and use the SAFC only for monitoring then? If the SAFC is not wired woth the airflow-cable, the problem must be solved right?
