Red is the best colour for the R. But solid red, not metallic/kandy/pearl.

Keirons peppermint pig looked great in that green colour and was different although it was a bit brighter, that is quite a pastel green.

I think the R suits some of these fashionable pastel shades. The concrete one looks fantastic.

I always preferred the lighter colours over the darker ones - the Red and Ivory over the grey and the black, as it makes the shape and detail of the car stand out more. Reckon a good strong orange or yellow could work well if you keep the black detailing on the side lines and bonnet vents. Not keen on the minty green - bit insipid.

Did have the option to buy an R in Hot Pink as an alternative when I bought mine... Not my cup of tea and went with the Red, although the pink one certainly jumped out at you.

They just don't really suit these mad lairy colours at all, the shape is all wrong.
Now that you've said it; I think I agree.

I don't even think that yellow works; with black bonnet etc it just looks like a giant bumble bee.

Eggshell blue maybe? I haven't seen it, but it might work.

I think it just about gets away with yellow but that might be down to Tony Bardy. I would have a yellow one if the trims were black. Even if it looks like a bumble bee...

I have always thought a very pale pastel blue might work. something similar to what the fiat 500's have, solid, not metallic, I wouldn't try it though.

Ah! I was going to do that when I had time! Now I imagine a bit lighter and less shiny but I don't think it looks bad at all...could be alone there.

I quite like it too... I'm not entirely sure about it, but maybe it's as simple as the trim looks too dark?

I always side with the stock colours, but I do sometimes toy with the idea of a period OEM Nissan colour that wasn't available for the pulsar.
The wine red that R32 GT-R's came in think would work well, sure ive saw a pic of one somewhere? UK registered car I think
