how much to fix box with broken selector fork?

the gearbox is fine other than broken fork.what sort of money is involved in fixing the box myself?just that i can get the box cheap and the one in my car could do with a rebuild.

When my gearbox went, reverse was the one that went pear shaped :? , there is a brake on reverse or something that fell apart and caused grief. Cost a grand to fix all in
