How much boost should i run??

Getting my car setup next week and am not sure how much boost i should run..
At the moment is spikes to about 19psi but then only really holds about 16psi..
Spec:
Hiteq engine and quaiffe box, apexi itc, hks safr, blitz boost controller, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, front mount, standard injectors, standard turbo with 360 bearings, standard air flow meter..

Anyone know what a 'safe' boost level might be??

1.2bar should be ok with that set up providing you get it checked on the road as well as on the rollers :wink:

if its all been rebuilt etc then go as far as u can as u wont break that engine or box should see about 350 then MAF will max probably around 1.4bar

I would run 1.2-1.3 bar with thoes kinds of mods should be good for 310-320bhp :D

this car was set up at thor only a few months ago and produced around 356bhp before tailing off!!if u want more power i suggest a new turbo mate :wink:
i know this cus im friends with the last owner!
