How much BOOST can the stock turbo handle???

i've got other upgrades...............

for eg. metal headgasket, forged pistons, z32 fuel pump, etc.

also, what's the conversion from psi to bars............is it: 14.8psi to 1bar??

I think the standard T28 runs out of puff about 1.4bar

mine doesnt... as it hits 1.65 and not cutting,
thats without the actuator operating
(when the vaakum hose jumped of :lol: )

I used to run my standard turbo at 1.6bar for events... no problems there...

Clocked a 12.1 1/4mile with that too...

Yep look at the link...

although back then i wasn't using the Power FC PRO, Custom Mani, SARD 700cc injectors or the Z32 MAF... I was on the standard items...

Did you find times kept getting faster as boost went up? Or did you get to a point where the turbo only produced more heat and times went back down?
