How long do the standard NGK plugs last

I bought some of the fancy NGK plugs from Nissan about a year ago PRB what everers. Just wondered how long they last, and if they require any maintenance.

If they are platinum (pfr7b or summin like that) they should last 3 years/36000 miles.
My mates alfa has platinum plugs and they last 60000 miles :shock:

might not last as long in a turbo motor though
think they lasted about a year in my punto tops

No the turbo ones are platinum and are designed to last absolutely ages. If you want them speak to MJPauto he has a special prder with NGK of these plugs. He highly recommends them and above the HKS iridium plugs.

Nissan PFR7b-9 are excellent plugs have just changed mine and the old ones had done 25.000 miles but they were still fine :shock:
