How difficult is it to change the N/S/F steering arm ??

Guys,

I think i may have located the source of my knocking. It appears to be the NSF steering arm, as when I rock the steering wheel, when stationary with the engine of, the knocking comes from the NSF foot well ! I've changed everything else, except the steering rack, so, I reckon it must be this !

What I need to know is how difficult this is to change and, how much will the part be ?

I'll probably do this at the same time as the topmounts so, these won't be in the way !!

Nope, steering rod/tie rod/track arm, whatever you wanna call it !! And it's the O/S/F after further investigation !!

Yep, they were changed last year and it didn't go away. What's really odd about it is that it sounds like it is coming from the centre of the car, behind the centre console. But, when stationary, I rock the steering wheel back and forth and the noise made by the steering rod comes from the same place. I'm changing the topmounts at the same time, as they creak and I'm sure they must be on there way out by now so, I'm hoping that will cure it !!
