holding back

hi iv got in the car tonite started it and it died started it agen and for about 30sec it was bogging when being rev'd then all was fine but when driveing its holding back and a slight miss untill it hits bost then goes like stink

iv also noticed that it sometime idles around 600 and seems to be doing better on fuel but that a good thing when its on its way up to boost its feels like im lifting off and put back on agen untill i hit boost then feels fine

any one any ideas havent had chance to get it looked at yet with working 7 days aweek

You had a look for any air leaks, could certainly be the cause of your irratic idle.

iv had a look round all pipes seem to be fine

i had a similar issue, turned out to be the rotor in the dizzy and contacts, gave a clean - everything back to normal.

iv checked that aswell and seems be fine and i carnt realy see that being the problem when i start it from cold and haveing no responce when reved for around 30secs or did you have this problem aswell
