HKS piston advise before tomorow

I know its friday night but....

i'm taking my block to engineers tomorow providing everything goes to plan :roll: i've had these 87 mm jobbies for a month now and not fitted them Aaarghhhh

the tech pages are in jap Dooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!

phoned hiteq and ian told me. (mods i am naming this co- as i purchased from them)

piston / bore clearance is 0.420 mm

but i now have to work out the rest can someone cofirm
ring gaps
pin / rod clearance
exact measurement of pin / piston interferance fit

piston / bore clearance is 0.420 mm

fair bit of clearance from stock, they must expand fair bit!

ring side clearance... top ring 0.045-0.80
second ring...0.30-0.65
ring gap
top....0.20-0.30
2nd...0.35-0.50
oil....0.20-0.60

piston pin interferance fit...0.004
pin to connecting rod...0.005-0.017

all measurement in mm

no not at all, it just when i measured my spare engine most clearance where near stock which is .010mm also worth checking the thickness off compression rings probably have either 1.5mm or 2.0mm some have 1.2mm second ring thickness. having different thickness rings tell you what the rpm capability of the piston and rings are!!
