HKS Downpipe..

Hi guys...

My car goes in for a service next week and a proper flange fitted to my scorpion exhaust (so it doesnt sound like a dieseld anymore!!) at Powerstation and wanted to know the advantages of getting an HKS downpipe fitted to my R???

On my standard exhaust I had no change after fitting a HKS downpipe, but others with decent exhausts have noticed slightly quicker spool up and a little more poewr right at the top of the rev range (I have a decent exhaust as well now ,though). It's just generally less restrictive, so the more power your developing, the more difference it'll make.

The HKS is poop, goes rusty, yuk.

This opinion has nothing to do with the fact that i'll be selling a mongoose front pipe very soon. :)

must admit they do get surface rust :( as shown in the pic, but it has been sat in my garden for a few months :shock:

ahhh ok i see what one is now...well the scorpion on the R is right up to the turbo so having an HKS one would be silly i guess....
