help !!!!!

i changed my starter motor, now my car runs like s**t it idles 2000rpm and refuses to go past 4000rpm whats going on ???? any suggestions would be grateful

There are a load of vac pipes that terminate in a airbox behind the engine, you may have accidentally knocked one of those off? High idle suggests air leak, check all the pipes

Sound like a hose off or wrongly connected somewhere.
