The gearbox which is in my car struggles if I rush 2nd to 3rd at high rpm, if it's forced it will result in a slight crunch and into 5th.
Before next years round of track days i'd like to resolve the problem really and as there isn't anything else wrong with the gearbox i'd like to stick with what i know.
Can anyone suggest what is causing the problem first of all, and what bits I should source prior to the gearbox being removed? I'm trying to spread the cost a little bit as i'll be paying someone to do the actual removal and re-fitting.
I think I read this might be a selector fork?
Who's the gearbox mogul on here? Make yourself known and let me know how much it might cost to fix my little problem? Gearbox would be delivered to you off the car for you to work on.
