Help!!!!! Problem

Can anyone help

Was out in my GTIR yesterday and started having problems with it when i was driving along. The symptoms were

= Hesitating when you put your foot down
= Black smoke coming from the exhaust
= Idleing trouble when you stop

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what this could be. It seems to get to a certain amount of revs then sort itself out sometimes then other times it struggles and seems sluggish.

Any help would be appreciated

car is overfuelling for some reason
you need to get a fault code check done before you go any further!

Yes will check that first to make sure nothing has come off.

Regarding this fault code check where would you recommend getting this done, is it something any general garage can do would it require taking it to Nissan to get them to check and if so how much roughly would i be looking at.

Take a look in the search option you will find all you need i will say this as best i can as all newbies get loads of abuse for asking the same Q&As all the time.
