Does a solenoid open on the wastegate side or the plenum side? :? Or doesnt it matter? Help please.

Can you join the solenoid up wrong?

doesn,t really matter which way it open. all your doing is applying pressure to the actuator to open at fixed boost level. is that the apexi one?

so what problem are you having? not enough boost? no control? lossing boost?

Its over boosting. I havent got any instructions but I have got some pics from matty of how his HKS is plumbed up and followed that but no success All the pipes are connected, under the topmount etc... but not sure if they in the right combination or order

Number 1 I have connected to the top of my dump valve and Teed into the bottom of the engine

Number 2 To the Wastegate accutor

Number 3 To the top mount and then to the plenum

The air filter one I have put back to the nipple on the back of the controller.........

having never seen the field one, this may be hit or miss! what does your controller show?. the pipe from the inlet pipe is only bleed back for stock solenoid. so all it going to shows is vaccum at inlet? have you played about with gain etc?

The controller hasnt got any numbers and everything is set at low
