Help needed

I have had my car at a garage for months now and they have rebuilt the head and various other bits done but they still can't get it running right. Need someone to have a look at it in peterborough area. Any help would be great.

How is it not running right; what's wrong? - Have they checked all the obvious problems like vacuum/boost leaks and that the MAF and TPS are reading sensible voltages at idle and WOT?

What plugs and leads is it using? What state is the distributor cap in?

Not too sure was looking for someone in area to have look really. They keep going on about injectors and mapping but not sure about it really

Have they put it together right? (IE timing chain)
How was it running before they rebuilt it?

If it's just a case of mapping, get it to Ed at Fusion.

Have you changed the set-up? Different turbo, bigger injectors, different MAF. - If it's still stock and just rebuilt it shouldn't need remapping; obviously that's better, but it should still run on the base map.

Might have been a hose off or split, but they should have noticed that when taking it to bits.

I don't know what they have tried but they are saying to me they need help looking at it. They have had it months and are saying they can't go any further so really need someone who know what they are doing to have a look.

Dose not sound good they can rebuild the head but not get it running right ? What made them rebuild the head ? It's a case of starting with basics and need of listing any non standard parts if any so people have a idea if it will run on standard Ecu etc
