hi all, im the one that own gtir with nissan blue bird engine.

today after search in the gtiroc, i found the picture is more likely with my car, as from other people i heard that only 5 gtir is imported in indoensia, and all used for rally.

the engine picture from far i think similar as mine too. is my car use that engine?
my car got that navigator footstep, the same rollcage, and front strut, also the suspension is nismo.

here is some picture that i saw has a similarity with the my car, such as the underneath the protect, etc

does anyone have any idea to have acces to this picture and iformation more accurate?

i need to decide which engine i should use for my gtir.. thanks

All GTi-R's had the same SR20 DET engine. The one shown in that book with the strut brace is just a normal GTi non-turbo, it is not a GTi-R.

I guess you've got a bluebird engine swapped in because the previous owner blew up the original. If I was you I would try to source and original GTi-R engine, turbo and ECU and swap them over.

Could it be that the R in the picture has a front mount?

Or that the 'cooler was removed to aid the picture of the brace?

sukar - that "motorsport options" page shows items available to all N14 pulsars
(its only the nismo gtir options which were specific for our car)

as ben has said:
- the motor in the pic showing the front strut brace is that of a the GTI pulsar engine (SR18DE)
- all gtirs had the same engine ("54C" SR20DET )
- you need to source a gtir engine (!) your local jdm parts importer should be able to find you one... (and if you sell your U13, the cost difference wil not be too harsh)

ben also mentions the ecu (which brings to mind the gearbox too)
i would suggest checking to see if you have the rnn14 or u13 one
