Help from anyone running water/methanol injection

Hi there,

Have bought a "Devils Own" water/methanol injection kit and it looks like a decent bit of kit  - I'm wondering if anyone could post up pics / descriptions of where they mounted their kit (pump, pressure switch, nozzle and if applicable water bottle) and what benefits etc you've found from running it.:-D

Cheers,

donpulsar :)

make sure the bottle you use is as near to the pump as posible for starters .
leave at factory setting so it comes on at 10psi.
probably use a .5mm nozzle but its up to you.
make sure you have some sort of water level sensor in the bottle and a sensor in line on the outlet of the pump as they sometimes fail especially if you are using a water methanol mix but i think they have changed the ones which are in there now but its best to be safe than sorry.
you will also need to make sure the nozzle is located 12" down from the plenum as thats what terry at ERL recommends.
best to also have a AFR gauge aswell but buy a decent one and not one of these ones which go to pin 19 i believe on the ecu as they are not accurate enough especially if you are mapping the car with it switched on because the AFR's are different when its turned on.
if you really want to do it do it prperly and go for multiport water injection.
hope thisis enough info for you to be getting on with.
