No...the fuel is 100 octane....I don't think that this is the problem.

Now that I've discovered the O2 sensor problem I think that this is the solution to my problems.
I will put the narrow band back on and if it still blows that black smoke at 5000 rpm then I have a problem.

Hey i up your thread becaouse i have similar problem with my R !
Checked all Vacuum (no leaks)
On idle MAF-TPS voltage is ok maf 1,4v tps 0,50v
Original Narrowband lambda on cold idle is 0,34v and no change it stall on this position
Can this cause my Lean idle problems ? AFR on idle is 17-18. When engine running i tryed unplug 02 sensor but no difference in afr .

Engine coolant temp sensor kanckered; the one the ecu uses. May be causing ECU to read engine as always cold..

I noticed that when engine is cold i try start and it starts, working 5 sec and die , befor 3rd try it starts idles but very lean and idle is very lumpy.
Car has sitted in garage 4 months with same fuel in tank , can the old fuel cause some poblems ?
