Are the R heaters generally pish or are mine not working right.

i've had no problems with mine, its lovely in the winter

They heat the air being drawn into the car iirc

Let the car warm up turn the control fan to full set the cabin vent to high level. the bottom door is in the passenger foot well above the ecu.Theres a long thin metal rod in a plastic clip undo the clip and pull the rod towards you do you now get hot air .

Take it yous where the same before you did this. AL give it a try.

mines only seem to work on full 1 and 2 do nothing

Yes but i have no temp control ! just nice and hot. If that works put it back in the clip in that position or the door will self close if the fan speed drops .
