Headlight switch quicky FIXED

When I turn my headlights on the main beam light on the dashboard comes on and stays on when you switch the main beam on. The headlights work fine but i'm guessing this will be an mot failure. I've briefly had the switch apart and couldn't see any obvious problems. I can't see it being anything other than the switch though. Any thoughts before I replace the switch...? :-D

check the connectors at the bulbs, they tend to burn out.

Wouldn't that affect the way the headlights work as well though?

What a donkey! Turns out one of the connections on the bulb had come loose.
