head gasket

can some one tell me what is the gasket that coresponds to standard C/R, is it the 1.0mm or the 1.2mm. think its 1.0mm as i want to keep the standard C/R along with my new pistons 8.3/1

if the 1.2mm is used what C/R results

1.2mm is standard. CR of 8.3:1

2.0mm is low compression of around 7.3:1

1.0m I can't remember off hand but is around 8.5:1

This can be modified by yours pistons and loweered or raised but the majority of pistons unless they say so are the same as standard.

I thought the standard gasket was a 1.4mm item :?

I thought it was 1.4mm too.1.2mm makes it 8.5:1 and 1mm makes it 8.7:1.There or thereabouts anyway.
