The best and the cheaper way of making your R' handle is to go out and buy or make a Caterham 7 and when driving it imagine your driving your Pulsar. :?

I really know what you mean but although a standard r will eat its tyres it'll still keep up with most round a track.. (thing is most r's are so old all the bushes etc are fooked so that's why they don't handle)

Gav,
In answer to your question:
I have learnt the cheapest and quickest way to make your car handle is to take it to a specialist suspension/rally prep place and get them to check everything is right in the first place. Then ask them what you should do to make it hand;e better and explain to them how you use the car... Chances are you'll need to replace a lot of your standard stuffas it's old.. If that's the case no probs as you can get everything(modded) pretty cheap
I wish i'd done this
Cheers,
Sam

I was actually only joking, I'd much prefer driving around in my Pulsar than a windswept, flies in your teeth Caterham.

The motorsport place will also set it up to ur driving style. Some understeer can be cut out that way by changing how u use set up the car thru the corner, higher smoother entry speed with ur foot off the throttle and then power out may help so u havent got to apply power why turning. Another point to check is ur diffs, they maybe damaged.

Just with different shocks and an alignment check I never got understeer out of mine with 17's and Goodyear F1's.
