grey pulsar with that number plate

buying it tonight for £1900

wondered if anyone know of the car

its standard apart from a mongoose exhaust and forge dumpvalve

hbeen tuned by john noble in chesterfield and is pushing

244bhp at 3500rpm with 209 ftlbs torque thingy

gearbox feels nice and tight and clutch bites really low

mileage is 102177km

sound ok? i havent parted with cash yet just though i'd post up here before i take the plunge

any info appreciated

Never heard of it mate but looks nice / clean. Is it just me or does the bonnet vent look as though it's been changed ?.

it seems totally unabused really really good condition

fair amount of reciepts to

only thing i should say is it didnt seem as fast as i expected

but apparently at only 7psi they aint actually that good anyway!

she'll soon be 1 bar :p

Sounds ok to me. So long as you've had a good look round and it drives ok, then yeah, for the money go for it.
And in regards to the vent, i was meaning the colour. Looks black. Could just be the angle of the camera though.

nah mate its definatly same colour

last pulsar i bought turned out to be a nail

i just plan to own this for a few months then sell it on for same price really

last one i bought for 2k and knackered the plugs and the engine was noisy

sold it to a guy on here for £1000 :(

hopefully this one should be ok


is there anything i should look out for when buying?

any help much appreciated thanks

thats why i thought something must be up with it!

just hbeen tuned 2 months ago at john nobles with a receipt bill for £600+

had a new knock sensor and dumpvalve put on!

The one i sold Alan was a bargain but this looks to good for that money :shock:

There must be something a miss with it. a car dealer would pay 2.2k staight away for that if there is no faults never mind £1900 :?

A GTiR with that millege and in the condition the car looks would cost more than £1900 to buy in Japan before even shipping or taxes etc.

Id have a good look round to see if there is any signs of serious accident repair :wink: also have a look on the V5 and see if its a cat c/d insurance loss :shock: :wink:

You never know though it could be the steal of the century :D

thought it was fucked because after 5 mins it started miss firing like mad :shock:

anyway got to staion £10 of 97 super unleaded

pulled like a fuckin train!

think petrol was stale and it was on empty had been stood for 2 months

245bhp it felt right quick!

it'll be for sale soon for £2000 once i've had my play in her

i cant afford to run a car like this! not with a girlfriend that lives 200mile away!

touch wood it goona prove a good buy!.

the exhaust is mental shounds like a fuckin shotgum goes off when it pops!

my neighbours are gonna hate it lol

short answer is dont buy it.it people like you that screw a perfectly good car for a "bit of fun" :oops: :cry: :roll:

im not silly boy racer
i'll look after it

it'll have an oil change, radiator flush and full clean tomorrow so i know it'll be running and looking a1.

when say bit off "fun" i simple mean giving it the occassional blast.

it will only be used at weekends as i gave a runabout for work

i bet i wont do more than 500 miles before its up for sale.

just wanna have experiance a working one unlike my last one.
