Change of job means my GTIR isnt practical however I won't be selling it for stupid money. I don't have to sell it so won't accept anything miles away from asking price.
Here's the spec when I got it in the summer.
Running 1 bar loop
Walbro 255 fuel pump
GAB adj suspension
Uprated rear arb
Front strut brace
Silicone hoses
Baileys atmospheric blow off valve
Turbo timer
Clear side repeaters
Blueflame full ss exhaust system
Organic uprated clutch
Alarm and immobilizer
Aftermarket shifter
Heres what I have done to it in last 2 months to increase reliability and performance
New front braided brake lines (Goodridge)
Refurb alloys in RS Ultimate Green from the Wheel Specialist in Cumbernauld
Stage 2 Paddle Clutch (Exedy) installed for up to 400bhp with paperwork
Fully rebuilt Stage 1 Hybrid Turbo from Turbo Technics with paperwork
HKS mushroom filter installed
Had it on dyno on old turbo and it done 260bhp at Hypertech last month (paperwork included) at 1 bar. The new hybrid turbo will easily hit 1.7 bar safely so likely 300bhp available if desired. Put in an electronic boost gauge and you're set for high boost and low boost.
Tyres are in good condition.
Tax is out at end of November. I will put on another 6 months or a year at buyers cost.
MOT is out June 2014.
Classic insurance available on this if you are over 25. My policy is £300, unlimited mileage. If you are under 25 be prepared for an astronomical policy price and get a quote before viewing the car.
Mileage is a mix of km's and miles
This is a dam quick car, and is now quicker with the hybrid turbo. But you can also drive it economical. It only gets VPower Nitro, full tank will set you back £60 and you will get 300 miles if you drive it conservatively ie off boost.
Finally, no time wasters or tyre kickers. There are no test drives. I will take you for a run if requested.
