I saw some pics a while back on places to weld and add strength to the body and chassis.

Does anyone know a link to any info or any pics that i can look at?

my car ex owner told me my GTiR was spot welding according to group N spec

maybe i try to dig some info from him

Just the places to where to weld and add strength etc. maybe the bracket positions/shapes so i can make some to suit. Cheers

Thats the part of the shell where the front suspension arms bolt on ;-)

And is the added material going under the panel that surrounds the axle tube?

Hi guys can someone shed some light on the last diagram of where exactly the tubing is to be welded from? The diagram to me, becomes a little confusing when i look at step 2. Is the tubing being welded from the firewall down or is this tubing welded from the top of the vertical section down?

hope someone can assist in this regard since this thread does have some years and someone might have done this already.
