greddy gauge fitting!!

one for all you tech heads!![:)]
anyone no where the standard pickup is under bonnet for water temp[?]
the new gauge comes with a screw in probe looking object[:0][:0]just wandering whether i can take out origanal and put in the greddy probe![?]

from memory (cause i just removed 1/2 the car to change the clutch) the water temp sensor is under the throttle bodies. bitch to get to.

should have asked the other day mate it on the left rear above the power steering pump on the back of the head two there one for ecu and one for gauge on dash
