Gotta love the US for engine rebuilds.

Things keep getting worse with this lemon of a motor i have. So I've started to locate and research about getting it rebuilt.

Since no where on Cayman can properly machine an engine deck or head surface i will be sending the motor to Secret Services in St. Petersburg, Florida. ( www.secretservicesinc.com )

While there it will be treated to a cylidner honing, head and block deck resurfacing. It will also recieve all new Nissan bearings, JWT/Crower rods, a custom set of Arias 9.0:1 compression forged pistons and a Tomei 1.4mm head gasket.

Of course...this all depends on if i can get the Altezza sold. But i have the prices for everything and have a budget set out for it.

Machining and assembly from Secret Services $1400
Main crank bearings from JWT $26 for each, 5 needed $130 total
Rod bearings from JWT $10.75 each, 8 needed $86 total
Rods from JWT $800 +$20 shipping (for bearings and rods)
Pistons from Arias $580 + $20shipping
Head bolts $80
Tomei head gasket from SPL Parts $230
Shipping engine to and from $500

Grand total US$3846

Thats one impressive price Nikko.

How do you know the crank bearing sizes? I thought there were 5 different grades?

yes you need to tell JWT the bearing grades before you can buy them...but regardless of grade those are the prices. 8)
