good crank anyone???

Hello people i am building up engine and need a good crankshaft one that has never been reground and not in need of a regrind cheers:-D

I was actually going to send him your way but figured you only had whole/running engines.

Best bet would be to buy a stroker kit.

yeah i already spoke to him today andy, suggested a wanted ad but good cranks are very difficult to get hold of.

i was thinking about the sr2ode crank from say a primera or gti, as i believe its the same as the gtir one, il make some enquiries as they will be a lot easier to obtain and will more than likely be in good condition.

iirc they don't fit as they are not as beefey as an R one.

my m8 had another crank fitted to his r as his bearings went, im sure off a primera but there was something that had to be alterd so the flywheel fitted on

Never fitted after the work has been done.
fully heat treated, weight 2 kg less than the std
