hi guys
I'm just wanting to know where's the best place to get my gearbox recondidtioned .plus what sort of money i'm i looking at ( just for a standard rebuild)

Just how are they going to recondition it for that money :shock:

To strip and rebuild a gearbox without changing anything at all will cost almost that much.

To get a decent rebuild with new bearings,synchro's etc i'd be budgeting for nearer 1k and a rebuild that is priced any less i'd be concerned about :?

You could also try Bernie Braden from CTS www.gearboxman.co.uk as Andy memtioned earlier ;-)

I had my gearbox and transfer box rebuilt by Bernie, Cost was £670 including delivery back to me in Scotland, That included all the bearings.

But I didn't need any new gears or anything major doing really.
