gearbox problem

Hi all is there anybody out there that might know a way to get my rebuilt box out of gear as it seems to be in gear but the selector shaft is in the neutral position, I'm hopeing there is a way that doesn't mean me haveing to take the engine back out .

i think" but may be wrong that if u take the detent (spelling) bearings out it may come out of gear then

Thanks for the advice Allen .But that daddy of gearbox building Burnie has solved the riddle for me 8) . What he had me do was take out the reverse light switch and through that hole you can see the selector's
so what I had to was bend a screwdriver and hook it behind the 1/2 selector and give it a tug and out she came back into neutral :shock: :lol: so all's well with the world now, So remember people when your dragging your box's about the garage be gentle as you to could find yourself's stuck in gear
