Gearbox oil??

What grade of gearbox oil does the Pulsar take? And is this the same oil for the transfer box?

What are the good brands on the market for this? I'm sure people will just shout MILLERS but what makes them better than other oils?

Thanks for any help and sorry if this seems very basic, I did try a search but gave up!

80W-90 is quoted by the manual for ambient temps less than 40degsC for Northern Europe.
I think syntrax is 75W90. I'm using it with no problems.
Redline MT90 is the other one I think.

RED LINE MT90 nothing else, that stuff will protect your gear box like a 3000 quid car alarm

I DON'T recommend puting a £3000 car alarm in your gearbox, that would be very bad...

MT-90 is the stuff you want, although I stuck a load of Syntrax in mine before I sold it and it made a nice difference to the shift.
