gearbox/dif prob?

sometimes when i reverse while turning and stop to go forward,when i go into 1st its like something has locked and stops the car moving.if i go into neutral and back to 1st its fine.its only as im releasing the clutch so i never put ony force thru the box.any ideas what it is?

Mine does that only in very cold weather if come out of the drive to quick like, I believe the detent spring is too slow to release the reverse gear idler hence lock up , best to just take your time and you should be fine.

Yeah mine does it too ever since i put normal mineral gear oil in after my last engine swap :roll: try changing the oil.
