Right it pains me to do this , but I have made up my mind and want a new project to enjoy over the winter months so instead of storing the R i will be swapping / selling her.



Right . this is my second time of owning a Nissan pulsar came into my ownership from a former member of the gtir MOD site. The car was mechanically in great condition but the body work was old and tired.

Anyway up till this point this this is what has been done to her.

Norris built engine - Forge JE pistons, ND oil pump, HKS 264 cams, uprated valves and springs and custom port work ,new nissan bearing throught , new water pump .The engine has covered around 14-15k since build. with regular oil changes

HKS 1.2mm head gasket.

Fidenza lightweight flywheel

Helix organic clutch 7k

GT2871R turbo 18months old 7k

AM performance 3” elbow with 3” down pipe (non screamer)

Water/Methanol Injection – set at 10psi

Custom exhaust to 3.5 inch tip

Oil catch tank

Oil cooler

Z32 On custom relocation kit

HKS mushroom filter

700cc Sard injectors

Hiteq fuel pump

Dastek uni chip recently mapped

AVCR – Blue model

Large FMIC

Blue hoses with mikalor clamps

Boost gauge and narrow band gauge in pod

PCV Valve replacement plug

Shot peened rebuilt box 7 thousand miles ago.

Hispec 4 pots recent pads

35/20mm lowering springs

Battery relocation kit in the boot

No aircon

Dyno print out of 397 bhp and 360 lb/ft torque at 1.5 bar.


(Clifford g5 alarm immobilizer)
+ Remote start for those cold mornings

I have all the paper work to back up the above modifications and a file of recipts




Recent work I have carried out over the last 8 months

New rear green stuff pads.
New rear discs
Front c/v joint
Clutch bracket support
Uprated bushes on the rarb and drop links.
New bushes on the farb.
Oil filter and oil changed 10 50 w
New clutch master cylinder
wind deflectors
AVCR set up and a scramble switch installed !!!!!
interior has been totally sound deadened .
stock gear knob
pulsar complete matts F+R
sparco steering wheel
rear trimed parcel shelf
MP3 stereo sound system with or with out sub + amp,
new rear kyb suspension,
recent refured of wheels
The car has had a respray in the summer and I have to admit the finish is not A1 perfect but looks acceptable. (I should not have called in the favour. lol)
welding patches to the floor, front arch, and rear sill both sides.
2 new front tyres
4 wheel lazer alingned + report
fully wire brushed then under sealed in the summer.
All fluids changed.
Oh and the GTIROC sticker!

The car has Tax until Jan 2010 and the MOT is until July 2010
The car itself has covered around 70k miles but every area of this car has been looked at and if there has been a problem /it has been overhauled and replaced. As said the engine has covered 14-15k and the box about 8k. the car has had 5 owners since import

The car does not blow smoke and holds the boost well as you would expect.

The not so good bits. The car is near 20 years old so it is not in mint condition . The body work of the car is in good condition with no ROT. And if you are looking for a true minter than I would say there is still small work to be done. Like the front splitter needs repainting ( thanks to speed humps and a rear arch could do with being blown over). Plus the interior carpets could do with a good wet vax. The engine bay is functional but I suppose that could be neatened up to. the wheels could do with being repainted as the dust/salt eaten through the lacker.
All these pictures have been taken over the last 2 months.











I have droped the price as the people that have looked over the car have mentioned the finish on the spray job is not that great.( could do with being sanded back and re lacquer) so i feel this is a very fair price for a car of this spec.
(i cant get a high quality camera to show the defects Sorry).

I am really after a cheaper car to run around in over the winter.
selling for £5500
if it does not sell before xmas the price will go back up and the car will go into storage.

i am after a EP3 Type R .

i will be putting the car into winter storage if it has not sold before mid December

On a side note, you must have one of the first R's made??

Mines a H reg and I'm in the first 20 VIN code numbers, didnt think it would go back to H because of that!!

Also, it has a Nissan badge on the front... and the early ones all had the Pulsar "P"!

I'm not suggesting anything dodgy, it's just an observation... good luck with the sale.

Back to 'G' reg I meant as well cant fooking use these computers sometimes :doh:

Grill can be changed if people prefer the look I@d be more interested in the reg, must be a rare one.
