Technically the fpr's could be worn at their age, a spring eventually loses its elasticity with age and use.....

Would make you run rich though unless something whent drastically wrong.

buy a new one for £80 then, thats what i did :D better that paying £100+ for an uprated jobby :roll: might as well buy a fuel cut defender while your at it :roll: :p

The standard FPR is fine if you are running within the capacity of your injectors and providing its not worn...


Ideal to use an uprated one if the std one is worn, if you plan on using more than one fuel pump as the std fpr won't do a good job of keeping the pressure level or if you need to stretch the capacity of the injectors... Remember that running higher pressures buts your fuel lines at risk so see to them too...

sards are £45 mate so £80 a little bit of a waste
