fuel filter prices?

just rang the local motor factors for a price on a fuel filter & a thermostat!

fuel filter is £20

thermostat is £15

dous this sound about right or abit over priced? :?

found a sytec 1 on ebay £8.95 are these ok?? or is it better to go oem or blueprint?

Thermostat seems to be well priced, I was looking at one today @ £15 Trade Price.
Halfrauds want £20+ for one

thermostats are between £11 & £15 wherever i look! just dont fancy paying £20 for a fuel filter! call me a tight arse! :roll: lol

yes thats the 1 ive seen in the above comment. dont know weather its better to use oem or blueprint? or weather sytec will be ok?

I have always used a blueprint fuel filter (and oil filter) without any issues over nearly six years.

thats what im thinking as i used blueprint on last servise! no issues. ill go for that syvec 1 on ebay just wondering what people think first?

Blue print every time. Been selling them for years - don't skimp on service items

I had thought about offering blue print items at cost + a small amount over the forum but not sure if there is enough interest?

tbh mate, youre gonna spending £££s on petrol £££s on insurance, so £20 on a fuel filter is nothing for peace of mind, imho
