FTP my XBOX Heeeeeelp please

right - ive spent 2 eve's tryin this
and its getting on my t-i-t-s

i have an modded xbox with evox installed
i have a network card & a crossover cable and flashfxp installed & set the network settings to what it tells me to..192.168.0.1 on flashfxp - password xbox, username xbox - my network card is set to 192.168.0.2
I have a wifi broadband connection network card which i disable so it doesnt conflict.

ive followed several 'how too's' from afterdawn etc and im obviously a numpty as narda - nothing, bog all! :cry: :?

annoying thing is soon as i turn the xbox on it comes up on my pc (xp home) as network connected - and 2 little computer screens flash bluey white simultanously - turn it off and it sais network cable unplugged -

so that must mean i have a connection?
flashfxp still sais 'connection timed out' ?

Any help greatly appreciated

Why do you want it connected to flashfxp??

why not just write your games to disk and play then from disk ??

Then use xbox connect to play free online

i do that already and just play them directly off the h/drive

but with ftp'ing it to the pc i can make a backup image of my games on the xbox h/drive onto my pc hard drive then burn the image as a backup onto dvd cant i?
