Front Mount + Aircon

I have noticed a few people removing the aircon to get the front mount in. Can this be done while keeping the aircon??

with some intercoolers you can keep the aircon but for most you would need to remove it

It all depends on what intercooler kit you go for,i think the d2/hybrid and forge kits you can keep the air con not to sure about the others but i think you can keep the a/c with most kits.
Most people remove the air con because of the weight and maybe a very slight power increase also it just genrly just gets in the way.
Who need a/c in this coutry anyway?

A/C is useful for demisting and works very well in winter.

i have the hybrid kit it could be possible to keep the air con

but now that i have my bigger radiator and front mount oil cooler there is no room for the air con

i could probably of kept the air con when fitting my intercooler but it got in the way a bit and with it removed, more air can get to the radiator

You can keep the A/C with the D2 power kit.

You can keep the aircon with the Forge kit too.

yeah, mine has forge kit, and had air con when I got it, removed it now like to make way for elbow.

Thanks for the replys, good to know it can be left in place. I can understand taking it out for a track car etc but on the road I like my creature comforts
