has any1 got any pictures of there front bumpers cut out for fmic.or pictures on the stages of how they done it,close ups.thanks

There are a few different ways you can do it,you can just cut the square out that is already maked on the bumper or you can do it like this, like on 00sids car here. http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27762&highlight=00sid
I am trying to do it the second way and i just cut the bars out in the middle of the bumper but left the bits of plastic that are on the bumper inbetween the bars that i cut out and then riveted a metal plate onto the plastic bits i left then ground the rivets down a bit and filled over it to the rough right shape.I am still not quite finiched yet.

not that good a picture to show but you get the idea i just took it all the way to the edge of the bumper had to do that as my intercooler was a bit forward and it is so much easier
