Hi all im after a front mounted intercooler and seen the forge kit for about 620 quid is this a job i could do myself or not and is this good value for money.

forge kit is ok but the hybrid fmic kit looks a better buy. inovate performance sell this for £500 or u can get it off ebay for about £400.

You should be able to do most front mounts yourself, but some (if not all) will involve abit of cutting of the bumper/ bumper brace bar and maybe body worrk near the headlights. So as long as you're reasonably mechanically minde you should be ok. If you've never picked up a spanner before, you might have a little trouble.

If you go for this one you will need to move the washer bottle to the boot :wink: .

If you go for the forge kit you can keep everything where it is , I had a forge kit and have just changed it to the Hybrid one :wink: .

a bit off topic v how did u move the bottle to the back of the car :shock: mines just sitting in my bedroom at the mo
