forge front mount

hi all. Im gonna attempt the put the front mount on at the weekend, but was having a look today and the air con/air con fans look very close, was wondering if this causes a problem. Anyone whos fitted one before and could tell me wots involved would be great. thanx all

It's designed to fit with the aircon in place. The rad fans aren't a problem.
I thought there was a how to for the Forge on the old info page, but I can't find it if it was transferred.

Everything fits in place quite well with the forge kit. The only things you will have to do is relocate your coolant bottle and cut a section out under your O/S headlamp for the the pipework. Oh and cut your bumper bar obviously!

If you bought the Front mount new, there should be a full set of instructions in there. Make sure it is a full set as mine weren't:?

It's all pretty sraight forward. The only bits that stand out from memory are cutting the brace bar with an angle grinder (noisy:shock: ) slight bit of cutting below the Drivers headlight (just levelling a lip I think) cutting the front bumper with a jigsaw and having to turn the PS cooler pipe mounting round to give alittle more clearance. Other than that it's pretty much a nut and bolt job.

ok thanx guys. the kit ive got is new but doesn't arrive to thurday so havent seen the instruxtions yet. my machanic just thought it would be good to ask people that have already dont it.
