forge dv-r diverter valve

Can i use this forge diverter valve?

Does it have to be the one listed for the gti-r ? Or can I use the one shown above?

You can use any valve you like, as long as the valve spring has enough tension for the boost you're running (this will as the VAG cars often run over 1 bar). You also need to know how big the inlet and outlet are so that you can get a hose to suit. I think the GTiR uses a 25mm (1 inch) BOV inlet and outlet hose as standard ?!

I Sent mine back when I bought a Forge Gtir specific recirc dump valve. You tell me why;-)

I can't see what's wrong with it, Apart from its not a direct replacement :? .

You could still make it fit with some new hose.

The angles were so different it would have been a pain to get hoses to fit without kinking. If I ask for direct replacment, I expect something at least abit close.

You could try an HKS SSQV or HKS SSQV copy from eBay, with the re-circ adaptor ?!

I've read an idependent review on these HKS copies and they are almost identical, albeit for some very minor internal casting marks on the copies. All the parts that mattered were of equal quality !
