followed on fron power advice please

right i have takig the plugs out again ( only a week old )they were all black and sutted up at the tips . my car smells really rich and on boost can though some crap out. were do i start as i never liked the way the bov as plumbed in. i think i fixed that but a cant be sure as i went off my 200 s14a how it was do? could it be an air leak or split pipe?:shock:

Air leak is possible, but our cars don't like them, so they run like shite if they have one.
Also
Check your MAF. It could need regrounding or the connections might be loose inside.
ECU coolant sensor might be duff.
O2 sensor might be duff.

There's loads of things, but maf is top of the list normally.

mass air flow meter. it the little box just behind you air filter,

it messures the amount of air is draw into the engine!;-)
