had a look through members got some showing pipes in car, was wondering if anyone' s got any before fitting. got to show the guy at my local fabricators what i want. any advice would be very handy too, like which is best steel or alloy.
planning on using a side entry ic unless i can get a norris style one cheaper

cheers, stu

generally ppl go for mild steel or stainless because its cheaper and sounds good and also many ppl can weld it, BUT

it would be better for performance to go with 5000 series aluminium cause its got better heat rejection characteristics than the steels ;)

depends if your going for samco joiners for the bends or getting the pipe bent.i brought 7ft of 63mm dia tube and cut it to length.if you are getting them to bend it you may be better off fitting the intercooler first leaving the car with them tell them wer you want the pipe run to go at least that way they can do trial and error until it fits.
