Fitting Bailey Dumpvalve

hi, just received my new bailey dump valve. as i went to fit it, i bunged up the pipe which was connected to the metal angle arm, and put the other pipe with the jubilee clip onto the new valve. As for the vacuum pipe, this was not connected to the original d/v when i recieved the car, yet it still did its chattery dump thing. i now need to know where to connect the vacuum pipe for this new d/v, any help would be greatly appreciated, and pictures would be worth their weight in gold!

well enough said. firstly you have connected the dump valve to the wrong pipe it wants to be connected to the black pipe that goes into your plenum. secondly if the vacumn pipe was not connected to the original dump valve then it would not be working as the chatter you hear is the turbo wastegate and thirdly the vacumn pipe needs to be connected to the top of the dump valve where there should be a nipple (no jokes pls) :lol: :lol: ok
