decided to get my finger out my arse and stop buying kit for work and do something on the R today.
it failed MOT on the lower ball joints. No problem I thought, i'll sling a pair of arms on it.... only ones i could get quickly were £93+vat EACH :shock: so went for ball joints..... £30 delivered.
whipped the arms off today and pressed the old joints out (guage was showing 5 tonnes to remove old ones!) and fitted the new ones, also put my O/S/F CV boot on it, and cleaned the plugs to clear a miss.
My mate came round in his evo so I took him up the road and he was shocked at the pace of it! :lol: im only hitting 0.8bar and his evo hits 1.2! :-D
Also said it was the loudest car he's heard.... it is pretty bloody loud
Going back for retest tomorrow and will be on the road asap (when the V5 turns up)

cant wait to get out there and start abusing it. Ive already eyed up an R33 skyline so it needs to get some use before it goes! :lol:
