hi removed an ecu from a car i bought for spares, it has a switch coming from the ecu, it has the name field on it and has the selection of boxer or normal, ecu also has a sticker on it that says active bom no 2746 field, does any one know anything about these or have came across these before ? Jim.

JDM after market daughter board with very little after market serviceability.

The switch I believe is to change maps, from normal to (boxer) boosted.

Yep I have. I have the maps for them too I think. Not much to say really, from memory more aggressive than the Mines ones.

thanks for the reply found the field web site but its in japaneese LOL, do you know if the boxer mode was supposed to be set for 1.2 bar boost ? Jim

I had one on my car when first imported, the map was very agressive - had problems with det when upping the boost past about 0.8bar.

Runs up to 8deg more advanced than stock JDM map. So im not surprised....

I ran one of these with a GT2871R 48trim up to 13psi. Afr's and EGT were good. (To say everything, i had a problem with boost building up slowly which i haven't yet had the time to look into)
