when you fit the FMIC what do you do with the front reinforcment bar, is it removed or cut down or can you fit the cooler under or behind it?

if it is removed then does`nt it comprimise the rigidity of the chassis?

yeah cut it in half, and yeah it does comprimise the strenght of the chassis but also makes it lighter

just dont crash into anything and you will be fine :lol:

I have a trust FMIC on my car. The re-inforced bar is largely intact. Just a few tiny pieces trimmed from the back of it.

Thats the good thing about the pace kit it stays in 1 piece

i Think it was cut too, but i have a sump guard so the front end stays in place :lol:

With the Forge you have to cut a large section out of the centre to clear the intercooler, the top horizontal piece stays intact all the way across. You have to trim abit on the drivers side mounting to clear the pip run too.
