fans not cutting in

any one know why? getting worid i dont like driving it with the fans not working?

anywhere i could check?

anyone had this problem?

Is it getting hot enough for them to cut in?
Do you have aircon fitted. If so, turn it on and see if your fans cut in.

find the rad fan switch

disconnect it

with the ignition turned off push a split pin into the connector bridging the two terminals.

turn ignition on and the fans should work. if they do then the problem will be the rad fan switch.

if they don't work then give fans their own 12v feed if they work then you have a vehicle supply problem. if they don't work with a seperate feed then the fan motor is how shall i say "no more"

car doesn't use fan switch, its controlled by the ecu on pin 9, ecu earths pin 9 to energise the relay which should complete the fan circuit and fan works!!

there was no fan relay there so am going to get that ordered and see what happenes.. doe'snt any one have one kicking around?

there was a wiring bridging instead, whats gone on?

yes its got air con aswell
