Exhaust temp sensor

hi guys so basically i chopped my exhaust temp sensor due to corrosion into the exhaust and the plug doesn't fit through the floorpan... do i need one? any ideas where i can find one? thanks

No, I still have mine in a spares pile. I used the same location for a wide band afr sensor on the aftermarket exhaust. I think it is used for the cat but mine didn't have one anyway.

ok cool so you reckon just chop the wire completely and will be fine? thanks

Mine ran with the chopped cable for years. - Every now and then, when I got enough snow under the car it might light up the hotdog light... but that's about all it ever did.
